International T20 cricket will return to Canterbury on Thursday 11 July 2024 when The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence hosts the 3rd match in England’s IT20 series against New Zealand.
It is only the second time that Canterbury has hosted a Women’s International T20 match in its long history, and will be another boost for the continued growth of women’s cricket in Kent.
The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence plays host to its first International T20 match since 2012 on Thursday 11 July, as England take on New Zealand under lights in Canterbury. England Women have confirmed a 16-player squad to take on the White Ferns in this Vitality IT20 series, as the Frank Woolley Stand has now SOLD OUT for the 3rd IT20 at The Spitfire Ground. Opener Sophia Dunkley is recalled to an otherwise unchanged group from those who sealed a T20 series victory against Pakistan in May. Southern Vipers’ Freya Kemp will be available as an all-rounder during the series after being named as a batter against Pakistan.
