About this event
Whether you are a seasoned ballet lover or new to dance, this programme of three very different short ballets, danced by an exceptionally talented company, will be an evening to remember.
The evening begins with Nocturne, a passionate and dramatic pas-de-deux by Daniela Cardim to the beautiful melodies of Frédéric Chopin’s Nocturne No.13.
This is followed by a premiere preview performance of Royal Ballet Principal Star Matthew Ball's first group work Acts of Exaltation for seven dancers, set to Monteverdi.
The evening concludes with Baroque Encounters by Daniela Cardim. To the sound of two beautiful harpsichord pieces by Baroque master Johann Sebastian Bach, the dancers playfully explore the patterns and moods of the music.
New English Ballet Theatre (NEBT) is a dynamic professional ballet company dedicated to producing new commissions that represent the versatility and significance of ballet today. To date, NEBT has produced ten critically acclaimed West-End shows, performing at over thirty venues in the UK, including prestigious theatres like the Royal Opera House and Sadler’s Wells.
