Nathaniel Rateliff, born October 7, 1978, is an American singer-songwriter based in Denver, Colorado. Influenced by folk, Americana, and vintage rhythm & blues, Rateliff has established himself as a versatile artist. He began his musical journey in 2002 with the formation of Born in the Flood, later transitioning to solo work and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Wheel. In 2013, he formed the Night Sweats, exploring a more upbeat, soulful sound. The band gained widespread recognition with their self-titled album featuring the hit single "S.O.B." Rateliff's discography includes solo albums, EPs, and collaborative projects, showcasing his diverse talent and musical evolution.
